My writing goals
I have a couple of work trips this month, and am taking an amazing vacation at the end of November. I was worried about how to get it done but what with lengthy plane travel and a goal for 2k per weekday, I think I can do this with one day to spare!
I am experiencing a real roller coaster of emotion as I pore over your writing goals for the month. Astonishment and incredulity to begin... but it isn't news to me that you possess some sort of superhuman ability to write 6-8000 words in a day. I've seen it before. It is a talent that has led to some of your best (by our standards, and let's be honest, who cares about anyone else's standards?) work. Then at the end of the month I feel incredibly jealous and spiteful that you are going on an amazing trip. Also your Sundays off make me want to weep and it is way too early in the month for crying.
ReplyDeleteWell... here we go... and Indigo, though I have often hated myself for signing up for this ridiculous and insane challenge (writing a novel in 30 days, what?), I have always loved that you were crazy enough to ask us to do it in the first place.
Someone notify Ozzy, because I'm going off the rails on the crazy train.
hahahaha I thought I was being less ambitious than usual! I used to write 1500 on weekdays, and 6000 one weekend day. Now I'm mainly trying to get 4000 per weekend! But yeah, it's intimidating. And yeah, it's worth being jealous of my fantastic Caribbean vacation. And all I have to do between now and then is write a novel. No problem! (No plot?)
